Prohibited Items

The following categories may never be listed, sold, or requested through SoClose. This list is not exhaustive — SoClose reserves discretion to remove additional categories at any time.
Illegal items
Anything the sale, possession, or shipment of which is illegal in the United States or in the buyer's or seller's jurisdiction. This includes controlled substances, stolen goods, weapons regulated under federal or state law, and any item subject to an active export control.
Counterfeits
No replicas, knockoffs, or unauthorized branded merchandise. Listings must accurately identify the item's brand, provenance, and authenticity signals.
Biohazard constraints on worn items
Worn items are permitted within the marketplace's stated categories but may not include visible bodily fluids beyond what is normal wear, may not contain hair-follicle bulbs or blood, and must be packaged and labeled per postal-service hazardous-material rules where applicable.
Zero tolerance: minors
No depictions of minors anywhere in any listing, image, video, description, chat, or profile. No items from, of, worn by, or attributable to any person under the age of 18. Violations are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
Other categories
- Human remains, body parts, or bodily-fluid samples outside the biohazard rule above.
- Live animals or animal parts subject to CITES or state wildlife protection.
- Financial instruments, gift cards, or bearer coupons.
- Anything the payment processor prohibits under its acceptable-use policy.
